@crockett36 I’m back. My $0.02. Put both carriers in Pacific. You moved one already to Atlantic and don’t need the added units there. The fighter can go to EUS and fly to Pacific next round.
Also, I would not have put the US fleet near Johnston island last turn since J could not attack Hawaii with the units there.
This round I would put them there. No need for blocker. J can’t bring anyone to assault Hawaii, and this way you don’t lose anyone, nor any turns in fortifying SZ 54.
Most likely J would not attack Midway anyway, but the DD is more useful to us down south as fleet defender.
For the Chinese turn, take Yunnan and I would probably take Suiyuyan with 2inf + ftr, maybe 1+ ftr and send 2nd to Szechwan.
For the UK, buy 2 transports for Canada. Get ready for invasion of N. Africa.
I’m not sure what to do about the Med. Even with a full 31 IPC naval buy (2 DD + 1 airbase), we can’t defend the French ships in SZ98 from a Luftwaffe strike.
I guess I would punt, and buy 1 airbase in Egypt and save 2 IPC…

S, can you describe your strategic objectives in the PAC? Still unclear what goal is from your perspective. I was assuming USA had to take care of the Med. ergo ships in Atlantic.
I think the PAC is a black hole sooo everything to the PAC except what we greed to take repossession of the Med

@crockett36 My Pacific plan is initially harassment. Take back any islands you can to force Japan to extend forces south away from home island closer to ANZAC so that attrition is more of a problem. Use ANZAC forces when possible to attrite/exchange to allow the US fleet to build up to a level that can stand defensively, then later offensively with Japan.
?why send fleet to SZ26? I wasn’t. Every unit that could would go to SZ54. And to avoid playing a blocker, just send San Fran (WUS) units to SZ30.

@crockett36 I suggest 3 CVs in Pacific since 1 moved to the Atlantic already. Don’t need but 1 in Atlantic. The Germans don’t have a fleet to worry us yet. The British can buy a second when we are ready to invade Europe.
Since we lost the Gibraltar battle, there is no way to prevent the counter attack. Not sure whether @Arthur-Bomber-Harris is happy with the battle as stands. Probably is since his counter will eliminate the US forces and ensure Gibraltar stands for awhile.
For China, I would not send an art against Kweichow. It was hard enough to get it, we want to save them to trade for more than just one guy.
I would be happy with just sending 1 inf + 1 ftr against Kweichow and taking Yunnan of course. Put everyone in Szechwan, then J should not be able to reinforce Yunnan without losing it (11 inf + 5 art + 1 tank + 1 mech vs 20 inf + 3 art + 1 ftr, 80-20 battle). Every turn we can get the Chinese NO is a win.
Actually, better move. Kill Kweichow 1 guy + air and move all in on Yunnan. Bring back Russian forces + 1 Brit inf +all air and AAA. Japan has a 15-85 battle that would decimate him.
@surfer I am quite happy that Gibraltar remains in Axis hands for another turn or two. Not having to guard against invasion of W Europe for more time is a huge boost for the Axis. I also like the Italian bonus.
@crockett36 Eh…I made a mistake. I only counted the land aircraft in the battle, but he has 6 more with the fleet that can attack Yunnan. He would win the battle against our stack–eliminating our Russian air advantage. I still like our combat move, and just adjust by reinforcing Szechwan.
It also simplifies placing the Chinese fig in Szechwan. Burma will be hard to hold.

I suggest we adjust the US NCM in Hawaii. The transport should not be there alone. Put it with the rest of the fleet. Hawaii is in no danger this round.
