Probably the placement of air and carriers made it appear that less air had a landing spot than it did. Still, this move may have given me some breathing room, but Japan is in trouble. And had I lost it, it would almost certainly be game over for me.

I’m having trouble figuring out what to do with japan and have another game that I am obsessing with a bit too much right now. But I should have time to think this through and post by Saturday.

@MrRoboto Yeah. I’m kind of blown away at how desperate Japan’s situation is. Maybe winning that sea battle will give me the space to recover in the pacific but I’m certainly still in trouble. Europe is looking better for me, but you are also in a good position there too.
