Don’t understand why you say this. This game is lost big time by the allies. They have nothing here long-term. In two rounds income is equal and all momentum on axis hands.

hmm, maybe I tend to overestimate the position for the Allies. But China will be lost for Japan which is a big factor as the do not threaten VC victory and this makes sure their income keeps limited.

Also, why did you leave Carolines? You had a great position there, disrupting resupplies from sz6 forcing him to use blockers. If I did not overlook anything Japan had not even close the odds to attack you there?
Then, why do you have 5 US carriers in the Pacific but only 6 US fighters? This does not match
So yes, in case you continue making moves that favor Japan, you might get in trouble :-)

One example, if you stayed at Caro, you could have a) killed the Japanese blockers safely and b) used the Anzac TT to take Iwo. Then Japan has at least to lose a transport to take it back or lose 4 income.

And may I ask, was this a missclick to leave the US ground units at Caro while having an empty US TT in 54 now?
Then, you used our only “can opener” US amphibious units just to get 10 bucks. Now you do not threaten landing supported by UK air.
And in case you go for that landing. why not use the empty TTs and load 4 UK units up?I guess these are plenty of details that in my opinion matters and that in the long run can turn the tide.
Winning such positions is usually not making huge punchs against the Axis but to where them down effectively and efficiently. You lack precision here and thus keep the pain level for the Axis way lower than it should be.

Japanese fleet to 54 was not a threat. Japan could have only brought 12 attackers, with one buy at NSW and fighters that can move there you could have easily protected NSW.
Leaving Caro was close to game decisive in my opinion.
Still, did you forget the ground units at Caro? Your US TT at 54 is now empty ;)
