    Sorry to have to tell you this, dude, but your fighters can’t land in Greece.  As per the rulebook:

    “Air units can land in any territory that was friendly (but not friendly neutral) at the start of the current turn.”

    You’ll have to figure out if they have enough moves to land somewhere, or unfortunately they’re lost.

    Also, I suppose if any of those fighters had no place to land then the initial battle was tainted.  :-P

    I only noticed them in Greece by the time I did my non-combat, otherwise I would have said something sooner.

    The fighter CAN land in Greece, as I occupied it on my turn and you provided them with the need to land on your turn.

    Fighters.

    At the start of Italy’s turn, Greece was friendly to the UK (as it was a UK controlled territory). That means that if the carrier is wounded that the fighters can land there.

    How about we take it to the forum.  The quote above states “not friendly neutral” which I cut and pasted right from the rule book (p.22).

    Also, p. 10 specifically mentions land units only:  “They can be moved into (but not through) as a noncombat move by land units of a power that is at war (see �Noncombat Move,� page 22)”

    That said, I’ve been wrong before, so I’ll submit the question to the forum.

    Sure, that’s fine. I think the confusion is on turn vs round. Each round is composed of one turn per power.

    Just so we’re clear, the fighters were on the carrier until you put a hit on it. They were forced to land in Greece during Italy’s non-combat phase.
