LHTR = larry harris tournament rules
Yes, I know.
besides modifying the java bin, you will have to play by the rulebook + FAQ that is printed on the A&A website, or the LHTR rules
Ah, I now see what causes my confusion:
On the A&A/Wizards-Site there is an old FAQ (March, 20 2009)
that does not contain any Heavy Bombers changes.
So Heavy Bombers’ rules are OOB rules.
My games usually are under OOB-rules with latest FAQ (February, 5 2010),
as to be found on Harris Game Design
Here Heavy Bombers are changed to “roll both and choose best”
(but without +1 on SBR).
So the TripleA map does not reflect the latest rules but a status prior to these.
Got it now. Thank you!
Sounds like you aren’t putting in the correct password for your A&A forums account.
If it’s working right, then you should be able to click “test post” prior to your turn and a test post will come up in the appropriate forum thread.
Doublecheck that you have play-by-forum turned on, that you have the right password and account name, and that you have the correct game id in the pbf section.
i guess we should leave it with solution 1.
most players will not be aware of the need to use edit mode to delete units, even if I post a giant news item somewhere
Yes, I agree. It would be difficult to bring this to everyone’s attention.
ps: triplea 1.5.1 is out
Great, I will test it this evening.
Okay, I managed to get it working!
I installed the A&A50 1941 scenario map, no problem. Just having my first ever game as Japan against all the AI and all I can say is - I’m LOVING it!!
This is fantastic, brilliant graphics and simple interfaces. Well done to the team who made this! And thank you.
Looks like that after downloading the new released 1.9 Version, the internal dice Server has an issue.
Can’t roll for my 1.809 Version games now.
Not sure what you mean by “internal dice server”.
The MARTI dice server (you registered your email with) is hosted by tripleawarclub.org. The server had been down.
It is working again.
In case you mean the internal dicey, please indicate what happens when it comes to see the dice results.
