BTW I started a game with league veteran Karl7 at the same time, and I did almost exactly the same G1/J1 against him and got similar dice.  You might be interested to look at what he does differently than you or how his dice fate is different

Most players new to the league are unaware of the following rule (I was also unaware for quite awhile until another player pointed it out to me), so I just want to make sure you know it before it causes any issues:

Order of combat phase per the rule book is to be:

1. All SBR
2. All amphibious assaults with prerequisite naval battles
3. All other combat

I always follow this rule, which restricts the attacker a bit at times.  TripleA does not enforce it, and most players don’t realize this rule, it seems.  If you have any questions, feel free to ask,
