I just noticed ANZAC had a battleship now too … bringing the Allies to 7 :-o
i think they’re more useful than people give them credit for. In the Atlantic, the Allies have enough places to land that carriers aren’t needed as much. Plus if all you do is sit near gibraltar with a naval base, you can protect & repair till you’re ready to move out.
They’re also good for powers like ANZAC that can only place a few units a turn and have a low income. BB is cheaper than a carrier + planes.
The bombardment threat in the Atlantic is a headache too.
