That’s the point though. Sea Lion is an objective for Germany but there is no justification for doing while the USSR is still a credible threat because once you capture London, there is no way in hell you can defend against the US liberation and the Soviet invasion. Hence, just don’t do it. I am only suggesting that if one wanted to do an early Sea Lion, you will need Japan to put so much pressure on USSR that Germany can focus completely on US thus Japan will lose in the Pacific. I agree Sea Lion isn’t a wise move.
Can Japan attack French Units? Without a D.O.W. on the U.K./U.S. ?

This scenario has come up recently…
The starting french destroyer in Madagascar, has moved IN RANGE of a possible J2 attack.
If it is attacked, does it matter? Does it negate the +10 for not capturing FIC? And that said are other french territories then available for capture without reprisal?

No action against France other than the invasion of French Indo-China will impact the Japanese relations with the other Western powers.

S I C K :D

Actually that really makes sense if you think about it. I mean, the UK trashed a French fleet just because they thought it could turn over to Vichy France.
-
LOL Nobody likes a stinky frenchman I guess.

The follow up is:
Frensh destroyer off the coast of E. India with British ships. Can Japan attack only the French destroyer as the Japanese are neutral with England?
-
Yes.
-
Yes.
Oh that is SOOO sweet! Wish I had known that previously. I had not attacked a French Destroyer for fear of losing the non-Aggression NO for letting FIC be free (figured it was all or nothing.) Ah well, my fault for not checking first!
