    Packers son! Only logical and ethical choice since the Pats and Cowboys are out. :|

    GG

    I would rather set myself on fire, than watch the Steelers win a 7th championship in my city. I hope it bothers Jerry Jones as much as it upsets the people of North Texas.

    Aw, come on. It’s just one game, and it should be a good one.

    @Detuite:

    you see being from pittsburgh I have to say I love the fact that jerry was nice enough to build us this new stadium. Thanks jerry

    The reality is that Steelers fans will be paying the stadium off.  :wink:

  • @Gargantua:

    Packers = Heart

    Steelers = Skill

    Seahawks = Win

    Gargantua buddy do me a favor and take a seat I have some bad news for ya…. The seahawks didn’t make it I’m terribly sorry to be the bearer of bad news. :-(

    Way off topic, but I am loving the fact that we are getting snow. Nothing says Super Bowl like snow on the ground plusIdon’thavetocommuteintocollege… But that last point is just a side issue. I guess Pittsburgh and Green Bay weather is contagious.

    GG

  • @Detuite:

    When Mr Rooney says were gonna win i take his word for it. And no single pearson deserves it more than him.

    Deserve a Super Bowl? The Rooney family will run out of fingers for all the rings they own.

    If if team deserves a chance to play in the big game it’s the Detroit and Kansas City.

    I wish the Houston Texans would buy the Oilers rights back, I miss the Oilers.

    I love the snow here in North Texas. Wish my work truck was heavier, my 1/2 just doesn’t do it with 2 wheel drive.

    believe me if it wasn’t for the way the steelers are ran from the top all the way to the towel boys then there wouldn’t be six. If detroit and kc and the rest want one so bad all they got to do is get one. The salary cap is in place so 1 team can’t dominate others. The steelers scouts do a wonderful jobevery year to keep us as contenders… Like willy parker, longest run in superbowl history and never had a snap in college. When they say pittsburgh is a football city they aint liing 350,000 people showed up down town for the parade last time they won the superbowl in the freezing rain sleet, there were people there from everywhere.

    I am a Chiefs fan from Nebraska. Watching Suh chase Cassel around the field would be great.

    2010 Team Salaries

    6. Pittsburgh Steelers Team Salaries $ 128,815,061
    26. Detroit Lions Team Salaries $ 95,827,117
    28. Green Bay Packers Team Salaries $ 94,018,300
    32. Kansas City Chiefs Team Salaries $ 83,623,776

    Out of 32 teams, obviously. I was surprised to find Indy, NE, and Baltimore at 29, 30, & 31, respectively.

  • Dolphin fan obviously,But I like the pack in this one

    I got into Dallas on Thursday morning, and the weather was shit the first two days.  Today was great. Got to go downtown Dallas and see the sights.  Tonight, I’m off to bed early because tomorrows going to be a long day.  The good news is the police are going to give us a red/blue escort to the stadium so I don’t have to deal with any traffic.  Go Pack Go!

    Sorry that the weather wasn’t better for you and all the other fans. The weather today and yesterday is the normal weather. We just happened to get the worse snow storm in 15 to 20 years in the DFW area during Super Bowl week.  :?

  • If an average team like the Chicago Bears can almost beat Green Bay in their last two games, then a much more talented team that is built in the same vein as my Bears will handle Green Bay easily.  Steelers win 28-17.

    It wasnt so much the weather as it was the lack of plows, salt and shovels.

    I don’t  think the Eagles and the Falcons were that average and the Packers beat them both.  In the NFL there is rarely a blowout.  Even bad teams ( like the bears) keep the games close.  They just usually find ways to lose.

  • Good game, I’m glad the game helped to make up for the bad weather in the DFW area this last week. I thought the best team won.

    What was with the flop of a halftime show? I would rather see another classic artist (The Who, Tom Petty…) It’s the Super Bowl, it’s the NFL, the halftime show doesn’t need any glamor, just play some good music.

    Aaron Rogers and Brett Farve each have one Super Bowl ring. Now can the media can stop with the Brett Farve worship.

  • Charles Haley gets turned down for the Pro Football HOF and Richard Dent gets in ?!?

  • I predict Green Bay should win

  • @ABWorsham:

    I personal believe Green Bay will line up in three, four and five wide out sets and expose the Steelers pass defense. Packers win 27-24.

    My prediction played out correctly. I was a few points off.

    And the cheese wins! Kudos to Steelers for a great game. They had a good effort, although on their last offensive play I saw another wide-open receiver which makes me wonder what Big Ben was thinking. I know Mike Wallace wasn’t quite in double coverage…

    Wait…the Bears lost to the Packers but the Bears will win?  :?

    Lo’e
    I didn’t Christina Aguilera screw things up, but the half time show was atrocious.  Namely because of three things: black, eyed, peas.

    I think but am not sure that Haley has a larger window than Dent to get in, and he will.  Liked the admiration for Deion, he was in the right place to get inducted.

    Nice prediction, Nostradmus.

  • @Gargantua:

    Seahawks.

    Why do you keep saying seahawks? (he said it more than once)
