Oh…
I’ve been playing wrong this entire time???
:disappointed:
Thanks for clarifying though. I’ll take that into my next physical game.
I’ll be obviously French battleships in 110 or in 93 would be helpful. A French fighter in Paris that’s the obvious ones if money is not the option.
I think fortifying Paris (only if the bid is high enough obviously) to survive a German attack on turn 1 is the best move. It’s absolutely catastrophic to the Axis to Europe. It completely destroys Germany’s momentum at a critical part of the game, preventing them from making any serious attempt at beating the Soviet Union.
@SuperbattleshipYamato following the current bid rules you only get one unit in Paris!
Right. Well with those bid rule I’m inclined to agree that battleships in 110 are the best option.
@SuperbattleshipYamato So how would you use your 60 ipcs for France?
Only 1 unit per territory/sea zone (which France already has at least a unit in) complicates this a lot. Yeah, probably 1 battleship in sea zone 93, 1 destroyer in sea zone 110, 1 fighter in the UK, 1 air base in Morocco, and either 1 transport in sea zone 72, or 1 infantry in Syria or Algeria and 1 mechanized infantry in French West Africa.
@SuperbattleshipYamato clever to put the air base in Mor. good choices.
@crockett36 You want to try playing with this restriction?
Like, try to win a game against you with this bid? I’m a bit busy now, but I’d happily do it when I’m available a few months later. I’ll bookmark this conversation.
@SuperbattleshipYamato or you can be the French.
Yeah, that’s what I meant. I apologize for being unclear.
