I agree it’s definitely printed on the Europe board. I was thinking the the global rules might switch it up - similar to West India being part of the Pacific map.
SZ51 also lets me flee from your subs in 106 while staying in range on Brazil. Plus it gives me the option of moving to SZ63 next turn.

In a nice tone I say,
You shouldn’t have assumed casualties in 95. You took off my destroyer, sunk my transport, and placed 3 subs in 98. At the time of the casualty choice, I knew you bought 3 subs and that they were likely going to your bid complex.
I don’t want to make a problem out of it, especially since I got lucky, but now we have a bit of a situation to talk about.
So, as I see it…
If my destroyer survived, I would have a transport in 95 and your sub would be sunk, and I would be a plane down. Granted, I didn’t know my perfect defense roll was coming, but I very well might have saved my destroyer after you got 3 hits.
So you would have probably placed your 3 subs in 81, where they are still threatening 97, but with the transport I could have taken TrJ and blocked them out a turn.I’ll just accept that I probably would have taken maximum defense,
but I hope this incident will make you more careful with assumptions in the future. I have to think through all the possibilities and how to approach you about making it work, all because you made an assumption.
I had to complain to Pacifier 2 or 3 times about the same thing before he started getting more careful. It is not rare that I make a choice that others wouldn’t, and maybe sometimes I will make the wrong call and it will benefit you. At the same time, I don’t want you to wait every time there’s a choice, there are still super obvious ones, but this was definitely not one of them.

Now after the detailed speech about being careful to assume casualties, I humbly ask that you grant the walk-in to British Somaliland that I meant to do but overlooked when the time came.
Again, I decided to accept the max defense casualty choice you did in 95 but that’s definitely a situation where you should wait.
The Italian turn wasn’t pretty, but objectives ultimately met

Apologies. I asked about OOL and thought you answered - I misread your instruction to take the Italian fighter last as take the fighters last. My fault. If you want to discover the board has been accidentally flipped over, I wouldn’t be upset.
I also tend to make odd casualty choices, especially battles involving subs & air. I think I’m going to just roll the bigger sea battles in the forum. Dicebot has got to give me better luck than MARTI has lately.
No problem on the edit. As an Allied player, I forget to move boats on the bottom of the board all the time. As long as combat dice aren’t effected, I’m fairly relaxed on edits.
