we edited the japan sub back into sea zone 7 as no DD was present, and assumed no scramble in sea zone 115 against UK.

started the turn, but after some thinking over it I realized there’s really no path forward here for axis. euro side is pretty stuck, allied hordes are blocking every path forward, and on the pac side, I think that blow the navy that’s coming plus strong Chinese presence seems like Japan isn’t going anywhere soon either. the decision to give up was mainly mine as I am feeling a low morale in this game, but also with ptv in general. had quite a lengthy chat with Adam about how I feel about some of the aspects that seem to really hurt the axis compared to previous versions, or at least make it really hard in the face of what I am considering weaknesses easily exploitable. so for now I think I am done with this and sticking with what I enjoy the most and consider a masterpiece, namely bm3. I think ptv definitely has a lot of promise and I like a lot about it, but certain things I can’t seem to get into or get over. to each his own for sure. thanks again for the quality games!
