As Italy i try to keep my planes. The games i played with Italy losing her planes were most likely ending bad.
I assumed correctly that you are not going for Taranto and Tobruk at the same time and a Tobruk loss is worse in my eyes bc you are gonna be removed from the mainland entirely for the rest of the game. -
