  • I don’t think it serves any purpose to continue this any further. You make significant more money than me. I guess I could still try to throw everything I have with America into the pacific. Maybe that can stall you a couple of rounds or so. Not sure. Meanwhile Germany is starting to make significant progress and I don’t see how to turn the momentum. Really I have not seen that since round 5 or 6. Like I said the game was pretty much decided by then. That leads me to think that significant errors where made early on.

    I am always interested in feedback and hope you can write your thoughts.

    I think I spent USA money too even between Europe and Pacific early on. Maybe that led to no real incentive anywhere. You make it very hard for me with your pacific fleet and air at Philippines. I don’t see how to avoid this without going full pacific with the usa for the first 4-5 rounds. I am not that weak at Queensland.

    I hated to engage Gibraltar with USA in round 4? It certainly did not help momentum for USA, but it looked like Egypt was doomed without it

    Maybe I am too greedy with Soviet early on. Maybe I should just stack Bryansk and not position in Belarus. Obviously I was trying to stall you, but instead I overlook the Italian finesse to Ukraine. That is not good. But overall the war on the eastern front is not really my biggest problem.

    Then of course the China campaign is a disaster. I guess there is no other strategy than to withdraw and merge all units?

    Feedback:
    After my mistake in Gibraltar giving you the attack to save Egypt, I thought it was going to be a long match. But with India taken sooner than you probably expected and Euro Axis getting through to Volgograd/Caucasus, it was only a matter of time.

    1. The US cannot afford 3 carriers in the Atlantic. If you really needed 3 carriers to defend against the German navy/air, you need to have UK supply its fair share of defense. But with the factories you built in the Middle-East (too many in my opinion considering the US strategy in Europe), UK didn’t have the income for it. My US strategy would have been to attack Gib as you did, and then send everything into the Pacific and go full Pacific, since the investment to overcome the German fleet is too high.

    2. With your UK investments in the Middle-East, you should have made sure that India would not fall when it did. UK had loads of troops in the Middle-East, but they never took part in the fighting.

    3. China fell too easily. As Japan, trading a few air units to take over China is a great deal. Merging is the right move, unless you are being aggressive with Russia and UK Pac.
