    If I had implemented the US figs thru Africa strategy 1 turn earlier, I could have had at least 2 US figs in Egypt before Ita attack. I’ve learned a lot from this game and the one with Bismarck.  I’m anxious to play the Allies again.

    When I read the Marti, the die rolls are not the same order as the units, so I thought only 1 hit.  I could have attacked E Pol with an inf and art (or 2 art), but deliberately used a tank and art to only use 2 units while giving me a 3 attack if the first unit was killed.  Also, better defense, which turned out to be decisive. as a defense of 2 wouldn’t have given 2 hits.

    More than half the time I get an error message when trying to post saying that a posting from this IP was made less than 15 seconds ago.  Do you also have this problem?  I will research this.  Ger rolled well in Hungary, which I expected to take; and Rus rolled badly in Kar, which wasn’t guaranteed, but still let’s Ger air land.  I abandoned Novo, it’s doomed.  But I can counterattack.

    All those 60 PU builds for the USA is finally allowing it to be a threat to Italy.  If Rus can just hold out.  With Ger building 10 inf for the past 2 turns, even with expending some in the west, Rus also had to switch to inf.

    Your initial power was only 7 attack-5 defense. So a lucky Rus 1st round put your 2nd round odds at even, 2 units and 5 points each.  The battle should have been a draw at that point.  The Ita are just living up to their reputation.  :-)

    Italy’s days are numbered and even tho Germany can take Novo and E Pol, it’s still 3 turns to Moscow.
