I know, right? This game has been bonkers.
I think what I’ve learned is that the traditional advice of “Egypt isn’t worth too much effort/expense” does not apply in BM games. Losing Egypt just led to everything completely falling apart.
Congratulations Axis-dominion! You have done your forum name proud!

And hey, I just noticed this launches you into Tier E. Nice.

Thanks again for the game, it was fun! Yah it’s hard when Egypt falls, it’s best to try harder to avoid it if possible, or go after retaking it more aggressively.
This was my first G1, and good that it was successful. But it is a dicey opening, I know I tried the same against roboto and so far I wasn’t as lucky. So I’ll be hurting in that one.
Man you had Japan on the ropes, but I felt that you sorta backed off just when you had the chance to really cripple her for good. You gave Japan some room to breathe and regroup. Also I think you don’t spend enough time calculating odds on the big battles, either that or maybe you purposely like to take big risks…idk but yah I don’t see any good reason why you’d allow your main Chinese force to be crushed like that.

Yea, I actually didn’t do the math on the Chinese forces because I figured that in order to properly crush them, you’d have to move your fleet into a disadvantageous position. What I forgot was how well the Italian and German stuff can set up a safe zone.
Ah well. I was probably doomed anyway.
