  • scramble 110?

  • YIKES! I AM REMOVING THE DESTROYER FROM THAT BATTLE. i repeat NO DESTROYER. heh.

    everything else the same.

    Scramble?

  • Yes, of course
I’ll try to check back often for any casualty choices you need

  • Sure was nice of my marine to roll over and die for you, huh

  • Lose subs in the first round if your cruiser and/or sub hits.

  • 2 air hits. where do u want them.

  • how bout i do the honors. damage a carrier, lose a destroyer (u can pick the destroyer later if i pick the wrong one)

  • I see the dice - ouch……
I think the calculator might have deceived you a little bit (it always takes a hit to the carrier first) and mixed fleet and air battles often confuse calculators, but maybe that wasn’t even a factor.  Kind of hard to tell from dice e-mails…
Anyway, you gave me a little scare because you actually attacked.  I wasn’t counting on the Australian boats, but I did divert that UK destroyer to 94 at the last minute
I guess you kind of had to go for it

  • a good result on a 73% attack was what Germany needed to reverse its fortunes (after a very poor early game showing), and give Japan the air it needed to have a shot at winning this thing.

unfortunately, a good result didn’t happen, making what was probable certain.  you play a fierce allies game, and your strategies/tactics seem quiet well suited to the balance mod (e.g., effective use of marines, raids on western europe, etc.)

    gg bruv

now i’d like to spectate a mod game between you and a master/elite challenger :P

  • Thanks man, that 3rd game seemed to be your best showing - I had to bring my A game
Playing masters is an awful lot of work - maybe I can find someone I think is overrated and knock them down a peg.  I’ll have more time soon, and I will be looking to play balanced mod more
I’ve got to finish a couple more games before this one even counts, thanks to the league rules  :-P

Anyway, thanks for a good time!  I know you can win a lot of league games with your skills.  Your knowledge of the rules will be helpful to people, I’m sure, too

  • before you typed that, i already put out the open invitation for master/elites to challenge you in BM. Whoops!

  • It’s OK!  Nice of you to say that though
I don’t normally turn down a challenge - only when I’m too busy, which I won’t be soon
