I think you are most likely going to win this game but I would like to play it out to the end because I think its been an entertaining game, stupid to waste hours of strategizing because of one silly roll but however it goes I’m fine taking the loss for league purposes, rating isn’t that important to me.  Certainly if we took the real rolls on Turkey this game would have been lost.

no it’s ok, if you end up winning then it should count. i’m totally ok with it. i too am not as concerned about the rating as i am about having a great, challenging game. the idea of the competitive league is cool and fun, but to me it’s secondary to having good games with players like yourself.

i agree that a really bad roll shouldn’t cause an otherwise great game to end abruptly, and boy was that really bad.

as far as me likely winning, well i may have a very slight economic edge, but now that you’ve struck the neutrals, various opportunities have opened up to you. and you have made some significant progress on japan. so who knows!
