btw i forgot to mention, about that last rule with sub surfacing with scramble, that doesn’t apply in this situation as you have attacking ships (subs and cruiser….my situation was i only had carriers, planes, and transports)…so my bad, i believe you can indeed complete an amphibious assault even without the dd.
