    Mechanically I don’t think it would matter if you actually move the hit or not, so you shouldn’t have to redo the fight if you have already advanced passed the sub round.

    Yeah, I suspect that the overall strategy is going to get filed as “gambit”, though I have won one game with it so far.  You exploited the available free guys much better than the other fellow did.
