    I just completely forgot to roll it, that’s why I used it, never had any trouble with other opponents, but again, I forgot - your call.


  • Just a word on my varying speed of play - I have chemotherapy treatments every two weeks, and it usually knocks me out for at least 3 days. This last one has been a bit harsher, and it’s Tuesday and I still can’t concentrate very well. I should resume playing regularly any day now, but forewarning if you ever see me disappear for 3-6 days, that is the reason and I haven’t forgotten you.

    The general rule is that once you have started rolling dice, your combat move is considered completed and cannot be edited.  You can look in the FAQ’s for that if you like.  That’s been the rule since I started playing online in the late 1990’s….

    That, and it’s a pretty key move in the position.  So, that being said, I will let you make the decision as to whether or not to keep the move.  In the future, however, edits should be made prior to throwing any dice (per club and league rules).

    Thanks for giving me the heads up for when you can play!  I hope that everything goes well with your care – I know that the chemo is not a fun time at all.  Whenever you can get to our game is fine – this is only a silly game, after all, but at least it’s a fun diversion.  :)
