My gut says to retreat, but I’m going with my brain which says you have a 50/50 chance of hitting the fighter and I don’t want you to have too easy a time rebuilding fleet!  And this cruiser would do a lot of bombarding throughout the game!

Losing to the battleship in Z2 (or getting diced in Egypt) really hurts - it was a dagger for me against JWW league game.  Decided to kill destroyers to give my subs a better chance of survival.  Maybe I’ll get lucky in Z9.

Tank bid in Russia made me go light in BSt and with fighter.  Gives you a breather at Karelia, but no really juicy counter-attack options.

I’m pretty comfortable with it.
