99% sure open communication is allowed. The extent to which it’s allowed is up to you, though. With my play-group we cut it off at “talk of general strategy is allowed, anything more specific is not.” We do it this way because of bad experiences where multi-player games would devolve into the “good” Axis Player and the “good” Allies Player forcing their teammates to obey their orders on what to do each turn, effectively turning the game into a 1v1 with a peanut gallery. That’s not much fun for anyone.
Which rules to use?

Hey guys, it has been a while.
I haven’t played Axis and Allies in a loooong time (moved to a different country, took a while to settle in ect…), last time I played the latest and coolest thing was Alpha +3. Now I know that there is a new edition of the game.
So should I used Edition 2, OOB rule, or Alpha +3 rules, for the best playing experience. Do they both have advantages/inconvenients?
Thanks a lot!

i would go with the Global 1940 2nd Edition rules(alpha+3)
-
So, 2nd edition rules are basically the same as Alpha +3?

-1 infantry in Egypt (UK) and I beleive they are identical

I believe the NO’s are different between A3.9 and 2e. Russia can get some pretty good bonus money in 2e for mideast and African terrritories…I don’t think that was allowed in A3.9.

Russia gets +3 ipcs for each German, Italian or Pro Axis territory….ie Finland, Bulgaria,Iraq are pro Axis
