@bakerbei I thought the Nimitz card was great for Global until you read the booklet and it says it doesn’t apply to seazones. Which makes it really not that effective since most of the game you are staging and protecting naval bases. I think it would be really interesting if it let you get the 4th movement point. In fact I think I am going to just ignore the booklet rule and allow the Nimitz card to use the naval bases.

My 3 friends and I all have b-days within 2 weeks so we’re having an axis and allies global 1940 game to celebrate. We’ll be ordering pizza, having ice cream, pigging out on junk food, and of course… Playing the greatest game on the planet

We started at 3:00 PM and finished at 2:30 PM the next day with a one-hour catnap. We were able to complete 2 games of 1940 & one game of 1942. I one 2 out of three games. (one1940 and one 1942)
