I regret to inform you that you made a huge mistake.
You chose casualties for me in the Ukraine, but I would have chosen to save an AA gun.
You can’t retreat from an AA gun, so your hit and run failed - your army would win and capture the Ukraine.
You may re-do your noncombat since the board you played at the end of the combat phase was wrong.
If you were unaware or completely forgot about this rule and the great danger of attacking the Ukraine, let me know and perhaps we can reach some kind of agreement. -
@gamerman01 Wow, I was definitely not aware of that. My bad. If I knew this before my turn, I would still have made the attack, but with less units, to make sure my chance of taking the territory after the first round was ~5% (that is, 6 inf and 3 art)
Other option would be to say I did not attack Ukraine at all.
