Hm, I think giving up is a little premature.
You could have conquered Moscow next turn, if you would place your planes somewhere else instead of Romania.
Even without them you have a good shot at Moscow.

After the mistake in Kwantung with the rules, Japan has no options to help Germany efficiently, you are 100 bugs ahead (and only 14 correspond to Russia), so no option long term against a good player like you even with Russia falling. Germany on its own cannot fight a strong Uk, strong Uk Pacific and USA together, I think.
If I had found the way to protect Gibraltar one more round and had done a bit better with Japan against Uk Pacific, I could have had a chance to win.

The point is, if you capture Moscow, you have met the victory conditions. I then have only one turn time, to recapture Egypt.
And it’s not impossible for you to hold Egypt for two more rounds with a little bit of dice luck.

Jeje, another mistake in my side with the rules then, I thought I needed London also for the Victory cities condition.
Being that the case, I should have placed the planes closer to Moscow and also retreated the mechs from Volgograd to Bryansk to ensure they could attack together with the rest of the army. I am not sure if I had enough army to recover Rome from USA, maintain Egypt with plane help, and attack Moscow, but you are right, there was a chance. -

I think this was our second game in 2014 league.
I think once I have 12 games or more, we can play best of 5 instead of best of 3. I will ask you then for another try with no advantage for you, otherwise I have no option at all for an even game with you.
