Well, I set myself up for a pincer in Belarus (I had to meet your aggression with aggression), but never would have imagined a planned 3 round strafe would net me the same result in 2… I got very fortunate in every way imaginable.
It was an early death for me if I got too many hits, or too few, or lost a couple air units.
As it is, that attack left me up by about 10 infantry on the front (9 infantry + a few IPCs for the missed 1/2 fighter), by my count.
Also, edits were because I mistakenly retreated to Archangel instead of Bryansk.

Oh man, that’s absurd. We’ll chalk this one up (so far) to insanity with the dice, because otherwise your strategies are sound.
But it’s not really over - Germany can stay a beast for a long, long time as you know - and I tend to be more of a methodical squeezer than a quick and decisive slicer and dicer :-)
I wouldn’t count you out, but the dice have given me a decisive advantage.
