  • I just discovered that the face-to-face tournament I’m playing in doesn’t use National Objetives, which I think is completely lame. If you want a game without NOs then play 1942.

    Anyway, would you be willing to restart without NOs? I think Allies have the advantage without NOs.

    Wow, sure we could play like that.  I don’t understand not using NO’s myself either.  One, they add tons of flavor to the game (especially in the Pacific).  Two, I agree with your assertion that the Allies would have the advantage (from just looking at it – I’ve never actually played without NO’s).

    We can start over if you like.  Of course I would expect no bid to be placed for the Allies, unless I’m missing something.  ;)

    I must admit I don’t know the first thing about the 1942 setup.  Well, I guess the territory borders are on the same places on the map lol.

    So, if you don’t mind giving me a day or two to look over the setup and get up to speed a bit, I will be able to give you a more competitive game that way.  :)
