I have the same version as Andrew.
@majikforce I was not aware of that in this version. so do we need to edit the sub out of that sea zone then? Also, when did this occur? I feel I’ve played this version lots and always remember the subs having stealth, except for when enemy destroyers are present.
@AndrewAAGamer the game did not give me the option to ignore your submarine. It went immediately to combat and did not give your sub the option to submerge at any point.
@DrakeMortis The subs are supposed to have stealth. That’s why I was asking which engine version people had because this is an error that I have seen before when the game version engines are mismatched.
@AndrewAAGamer does this rule variance also allow for aircraft to attack subs without the aid of a destroyer?

As far as I know, the file will be corrupted even if you start using identical versions going forward, so would have to do things manually. Witt and I had same problem

Okay so checking the Forum the current stable is 2.5.22294. So I would suggest we all update to that version if not there already.
If Colt45554 is right then going forward we will need to manually remove subs from SZ’s that we want to ignore then add them back in after combat. What a pain…
Axis Team - Since the Allied Team said the Russian sub would fight if the Axis wants to fight the Russian sub then no changes would occur; the battles stand as rolled. If the Axis wants to ignore the sub then we will need to reroll the battle by removing the sub first then reroll the battle. Since the dice were better than average I doubt you would elect this choice however it is your choice if you want to reroll the battle.
Majikforce please hold till we get a decision from the Axis…
Will hold. I think if we all have the latest version you posted we shouldn’t have the sub issue anymore. But I could be wrong.
