    Hmm that is a bit sneaky. I’m a newish player. So I forgot that my fighters couldn’t defend against the sub. Obviously (at least to me), I’d have wanted to kill of the fighters first and defend against the sub.

    So my OOL would have depended on what units you had left.

    Oops. Never mind. Your sub killed the cruiser in a relatively fair fight (I’d thought you’d killed off my cruiser with your cruiser, so you’d get a free kill on the sub.). I still miscalculated it and should have bought a destroyer.
