    Crummy dice, both defenders in Shan hit on first round. I only used 2 ground troops, so its empty. I clicked too quickly and computer chose plane as hit. I edited to take my armor and restore it to Japan control. Also, strange computer error: 2 troops in Canada loaded onto UK transport during NCM > sz91, but weren’t allowed to unload to UK or US controlled territory. So I edited the unloading. Too many times 2 defenders both hit on round 1. Plus the Vichy French single defenders killed both an American and a Brit on round 1.

    I expected that you would take the Med isles for the N.O.s while you could, and have to limit the fleet action to repairing the battleship. Although, I calculated that if Italy had attacked Iraq from Syria, with support from all 3 planes in Italy, your ground troops and all UK troops would be mutually killed. Your transports could have convoyed new troops to Syria. As it is, Allies can sink the Italian transports, which gives UK breathing room.

    It’s extremely hard for UK to take back all 3 isles and hold them, must have overwhelming control of the Med. Its easy to flood Med with subs and cut back Italian cash. But the N.O.s provide more cash that can’t be blocked. Italy and India are critical to the game. If Italy is strong, the Axis are. If Japan can be pushed back and India generates lots of cash, then the Euro Axis can be pushed back.
