    Ah… I bought them and then forgot about them with my attacks. So that anywhere I place them you will sink them easily…the AAA engine allows me to hold on to them to place later, or the strict rules would give a refund of IPCs…(15). Your call

    So, the rule is that if you can place them, then you have to place them – iirc, there was a way that players could manipulate major things otherwise.

    If you cannot place them (an overpurchase) then you can have the PU’s refunded. I believe there is a league rule that clarifies this, but it’s been years ago…

    The carryover doesn’t show up anywhere, so this would be really bad to have to keep track of anyway.

    So, for this time, since you didn’t know the rule I will allow that purchase to carry over to the next turn (you could have just saved the money anyway so no biggie). I don’t see how to edit the units out because they aren’t showing up anywhere on my end (even more of a reason to not carryover units) – so make sure you still have them during your German turn (and I’m old, so I’ll probably forget between now and next turn). :)

    PS: The idea of not allowing a carryover is that your purchase takes place before you know battle results. You should not have the knowledge of those results before deciding whether or not to place units – the units were already purchased. I think that’s the idea anyway lol.
