    The cruiser dying in SZ96 UK1 is a 2.7% possibility. Yes, I didn’t handle it properly, but still I’d like another go without such a disastrous start.

  • The chance of that cruiser/fighter failing to kill the transport in SZ96 is 5%.  I have had it happen way too many times…  that is why I purchase a couple of land units for the UK in Africa to make sure that the Italians are quickly eliminated from that continent.  Those artillery in China were quite useful, but I still prefer going after Italy hard to begin the game.  If they get an income up to 30+ per round, the Allies face an economic loss regardless of the fate of Moscow.

    Right, I was looking at the chance of the destroyer living.

    I can understand an artillery in Sudan to increase the chance of the Ethiopia attack succeeding to 95% (from 79%), or in Alexandria if you’re doing a Tobruk crush but two seems overkill to me.

    While the US may take down Manchuria in a few turns, India is toast. Thought it could die that last turn.

    Happy to concede this one. I’ll post the result.
