Honestly don’t let my early morning grumbling about combat rolls diminish the brilliant plays you’ve been making. China has rocked it this game. I know all too well that any bad luck I may have suffered along the way was due to gambles I made and then lost. I could have chosen not to bomb for example, or I could have chosen not make some of those early move outs inti Burma and Ukraine, hanging my hopes on narrow attacks and defenses. But I made my bed, and I’ve got to sleep in it now haha.

Hehe one can hope, but unfortunately the Axis have completely lost the initiative at the center. It will be enough at this point just to try and hold Berlin and one other VC to prevent your 10 VC win for a few more rounds. My German armor will be needed to defend the fatherland soon, so playing chicken with the Russians in Belo is just a formality. In an alternate universe Japan might have been in a position to take over as the Germans withdrew, but that’s unlikely to happen here, since I can already see the Allies slowly creeping back into the Pacific. It’s like watching a trainwreck in slow motion. Still, I enjoy the game, and will play on to see how long we can draw it out. Who knows, I might catch a break somewhere and bloody the Allies on defense at the very end. Just to close with a bang hehe

My hope here was to hold out until at least the 10th, but I know you like to airblitz. So I figured, if you really wanted Berlin this round, at least it would cost you the entire western air-force for a roughly 50/50 shot, with a pretty decent TUV swing in my favor. Otherwise maybe I force you to bounce north and evac France to stack Karelia. Or maybe stack France for defense which perhaps gives J an opening. Or maybe go market garden style and try to hold it down in Northwestern? Hard to predict. Allies have options, and the Ruskies will go monster next round. Either way I’m running out of options, so thought it best to go for something narrow and leave the decisions to you heheh.
