In the 1940 europe and global forums I’m seeing a lot of mentions of Alpha, Alpha 2, Alpha 3.9, etc.
Are these versions before or after the 2nd editions?
Are some of these house or tournament rules?

@nebnworb yea they get the bit in their mouth and they can run all over the place. Little annoying things that if they don’t react and you can support, can really be irritating. Of course they can kinda do the same thing, depending on USA strategy : )

I did some cross checking on the Charts player aid charts you made for your +3 version & they WILL work for the 2e & with the +3.9 set-up charts that “Sehxual Panda” made also.

So I guess with some research on my own, I figured it out &, they will all work together :-D
So I’m stoked. All good charts with no changes needed. Thanx for your response & sorry for the confusion.

But now with 1914 coming out, you know your gonna have to get busy & make some more cool player’s aid charts for that too, don’t ya. :-o

Normally I think UK could take back both Shan State and Yunnan on UK 3 before pulling back to Calcutta.
Thus your planes have no landing spot.

Might be costly, but also might be worth it for the reasons you suggested.

It does appear more and more now that the British curiser in sz91 will survive to UK1, so the question becomes, if it is going to be there on UK1 how do you use it? Or more specifically how does it help the British naval position in the eastern Med?

That makes partial sense. I still think you need submarines for Germany, but a lot less. Before you needed 4 in SZ 109, 2 in SZ 106, 2 in SZ 82. Now you need 2 in SZ 109, 1 in SZ 106 and 1 in SZ 82 to get almost the same results as before.

What the change does, however, is weaken England to the tune of 5 IPC a round. There’s not a bat’s chance in hades that England and America are putting units in Paris until the game is already over (but the axis won’t concede). Essentially, what Larry did, was to remove 10 IPC a round from the Allies give the Axis a significant boost in buying power in relation to the what the Allies used to get.

It also means that the Allies dont ahve to go beserk trying to kill every submarine on the board too.

All submarines do Convoy Raid Damage, German Submarines do it more effectively.

Germany does 3 CRD
USA, Australia, England (And India), Italy, Japan and Russia do 2 CRD
China does 0 CRD (cannot buy submarines)

It would take 3 Japanese submarines to do 6 dmg to England, but it only takes 2 Germany submarines to do 6 dmg to England.

Defiance if you write a letter to the WoC support you can get shipped 6 japanese tactical bombers and a correct battle strip for Pacific '40.

Wait what? Is this because Japan lacks enough tac bombers, a problem that has always pissed me off?! I can finally get enough?

Ghr2 is right mantle, you need a turn before russia attacks! Use the london money to prep for russia or the american fleet… whichever is more threatening! Like I said earilier, have Italy set it up so it’s appealing to attack them (aka keep the UK fleet in the Med).

Hopefully you understand a little bit better Zcion. The Sealion is different in all the games of Global. One time I was Germany, and was prepping for a Sealion and I failed my France attack! Italy had to pick it up! I was so mad, but went for the Sealion anyway, my UK player thought that since I didn’t have enough cash for a Sealion… he thought I was going for Russia. Boy was he surprised lol.
