Hi Man!!
Victory is yours,
Will post my defeat now. Very good game from your side, I made a mistake when allowing you to capture Germany the second time (the first I did not look carefully enough), took the risk that you would not notice to place the Harbour the second time and that was wrong and definitive. You played very well from that.
It is very meritable from you, having won this game, looking at how it looked like before you captured Germany.
Thanks for this game!!!
If you wish a second game, I propose the same start conditions.
Cheers

Thanks - good game to you as well.
I truly think I was in a lot of trouble (as I usually am when playing the Allies), until I got that attack on Germany. Turns out, one time still may not have been enough, but I think once I got the capital the second time, it really gave the Allies too much money (and cost Germany 2 full turns of production). From there, I probably was STILL too passive, but, I figured with the lead I was just trying to run out the clock.
I will say this - there was a point a few turns ago that I think you could have won the game. Japan could have swung in position to take Hawaii or Australia - you had like 3 transports and I think 8 planes that I am not sure I could have blocked off OR protected those 2 spots. That would have given you a Pacific victory - and I was fearing you saw it :)
I would be happy to play again - would you like to switch sides? (or did we already agree to that?) If so, with the 9 bid, where would you like to place your stuff? I will start another thread. Looking forward to another good game with a good and gracious player :)

Jaja, yes, I saw it, that was in fact my strategy after Europe defeat, but from New South Wales or Hawaii, you could retake before the next Japan turn, you placed a lot of USA ships so I had to abandon that strategy and try to push UK with Germany and UK Pacific with Japan at the same time as an alternative strategy, and Russia afterwards from both sides, that would have worked I think, but Germany had not sufficient forces to eliminate UK in meaddle east and that was crucial. May be not retiring in Calcutta when Japan was controlling it caused that. It was interesting anyway.
Yes, we can switch sides if you wish, my placement: sub in Egypt med and Anzac infantry in Guadalcanal.

Good luck and lets keep having fun!!
Cheers
