    Also, tripleA doesn’t handle SBR aa fire properly since it would let me select whatever plane I want as a casualty. If the aa hits, should I roll a die in the forum to determine whether it hit a tact or strat?


  • thats not the right map.  it’s easier if you just do your combat moves and use the post combat moves to forum.  that way I can also just see what you moved without actually having to download the map to look.

    Hey guys, I am following your interesting game, Interesting to see how sealion games are going to be, especially with 2 good players. the last SL game I have reviewed was a win from Ziggu vs allweneed, interesting to see how this goes, UK had 2 big battles so far. A little consolation is the failed Yunnan attack which makes the life of the Japanese a bit easier and the good convoy damage.

    But in the end, 3 air down is something that can happen with 3 SBR rolls and sometimes Germany loses an Air in Scotland. And you took one of him down too. I just hope to see an “honest” sealion game without the game being in favor of one side before UK actually goes into German hands:D

    They aren’t crazy unlikely dice (14% of that or worse SZ112 and 4% for the SBR), but hitting the same power in succession is deeply problematic since I’m locked into a Sea Lion stance.

  • no worries, I know triplea’s dice engine is flawed and can give skewed results over any short cycle of dicing but amazing no one else seems to notice or care ever since I brought it up.

    in theory it “should” average out but when the game can hinge on a select few battles this dicing flaw can break games.  I know AA hits can seem worse relatively but your turn wasn’t that bad.  I’ve experienced worse dicing strings for much larger battles.
