I’ll soldier on. I would ask for a different favor though: I realized I hadn’t unoladed my Russian tank into Sicily last turn as Russia. I would like to edit it in and give Russia an additional +3 ICs for the added bonus.

I don’t know what tripleA whether or not tripleA would prompt, but Krieghund said that in scenarios like this, scrambling remains an option. Scrambling blocks the offload since amphibious assaults can’t proceed until the SZ is cleared, and the Soviets have no way to clear the SZ. It seems weird (since a scrambled plane can’t hit anything here), but that’s what he said.
