Is someone dying here or what is the problem with slow game :lol: And my deepest apologies if someone is dying.
I think Make_It_Round could be excellent Germany. As the most successfully aggressive player I know, he could really get those tanks rolling.
For me it is all the same what country I play, though for some reason I like to play Russia in WW2. Still I would prefer to roll a dice for a country rather than chose something.
Why you think 8 people FFA is hard? Hard to find players? In my opinion 5 players is too few players in FFA. 8 is more players and since I don’t care of balance in FFA, I could take the most sucky country and enjoy the game.

Maybe we should just continue and default to no change in politics since not explicitly agreed on proposals?
If France gets Constantinopolis we only need to decide what we do with the rest of the Ottoman units.
If France does not get Constantinopolis, then we buy max defence stuff for Constantinopolis and see what happen next round?
Or are other people willing to play this game anymore?
I say we move forward with this proposal, and the game should finish up pretty soon one way or another.
I think that we could start recruiting for an 8-player as well, with the caveat that if they don’t make a play in 48 hours from the last post before them, their country’s forces are replaced by neutral pieces… That way the game won’t ‘hang’.

Lol, found a terrible bug accidentally.
I changed my mind with after combat move in Serbia. I DLed the save I posted, edited the changes, and then reposted the save. Now, those edits I made does not show in any logs! Meaning people could easily try to cheat without anyone noticing it.
The procedure is as follows:
1. Make all your moves but don’t post them to the forum.
2. Save the game to your computer.
3. Load the game you just saved to your computer.
4. Edit whatever you want.
5. Post the save you edited to the forum.And no edits will be shown on logs.

I have taken back Berlin. The French, as my Allies, cannot take it from me. Thus, the Russians–if their intentions are as pure as they claim they are–should back off, as the French cannot win.
Russia is attempting to pressure us into war with the French. This will not happen; the French have always been our faithful and staunch allies, in a sea of traitors and opportunists. The Ottomans and Russians would do well to accept my call for a ceasefire, and to find other ways to give expression to their foreign policies than to rape and murder on Austrian soil.

Not sure if I want to play FFA5 anymore. The England is in my opinion in a ridiculous position in it. It is the only nation who is not more or less forced to fight against someone. So, it can just keep building a ridiculous Navy and pick neutrals and random nations from Sweden, Africa, or Spain. So, the end game is guaranteed for England without problems, and depending on how long the continent is fighting against eaach other England will be more or less unstoppable.
The other thing on England’s side is Navy Bombardment. Free shots each turn against coastal areas, and when England is the one to become OP because of the Navy it always builds, there is just no sense. The least to do to fix this could be to allow bombardment from coastal fortresses to the sea. That is also what happens in real.
In FFA8 I have understood what UK does is engulf slowly but surely Spain and then become unbeatable.

In FFA8 I have understood what UK does is engulf slowly but surely Spain and then become unbeatable.
UK has other problems tho.
You cant rival his Navy but he will never have an impact in Europe.
PS: in my last game I was France and UK was very aggressive on me. Spain was mine tho’

Austria: I will give Berlin back when you stop the open border with France. Otherwise he can stage his troops there.

Not sure if I want to play FFA5 anymore. The England is in my opinion in a ridiculous position in it. It is the only nation who is not more or less forced to fight against someone. So, it can just keep building a ridiculous Navy and pick neutrals and random nations from Sweden, Africa, or Spain. So, the end game is guaranteed for England without problems, and depending on how long the continent is fighting against eaach other England will be more or less unstoppable.
The other thing on England’s side is Navy Bombardment. Free shots each turn against coastal areas, and when England is the one to become OP because of the Navy it always builds, there is just no sense. The least to do to fix this could be to allow bombardment from coastal fortresses to the sea. That is also what happens in real.

Why should England care of central/western europe, when they can go to Sweden, Africa, and Spain? The only reason for them to care of Europe is to make sure France can’t expand anywhere, that is harass France and expand in power all the time while doing it. The only way to hold England is to give France a chance to hold England, and if the ways to end game are defined like that, there is not much point in playing this map.
This game I of course will finish, but I am definelty not interested of FFA5 anymore. The map is broken in my very harsh opinion.
