Yes the rolls have been very close to average. Nsw taken with inf, 3 arm + change.
Wanna do the India battle and possibly two crap shots in Nsw, we can rewind and do regular turns except we paste in the battles, or do it regularly?
-
…the rewinding needed only if fate turns on me…
-
…unless there is some way you can rob me of a VC that I’ve missed. I do intend to block Japan again… :-)

Ha, no success.
As I say, good game until the very end. No drama in the IND battle. But you won the game, AND THE 2012 LEAGUE…. I’ll report to Jen.
-
Well it was a very fun game. The axis do seem to have an advantage. As you said earlier perhaps UK could do with another NO. In the triplea tournament after game two it was ruled to be mandatory for allies to have a Russian bmb pre-bid. Large bid can have funny effects on the game but perhaps that can be solved with a fixed bid like the Russian bmb + a regular bid?
-
Yeah, maybe. Not sure what a russian bomber means in terms of regular game play. I wanted to believe there is a way for the allies short of dumb luck can win, but maybe not.
I do question what Avalon Hill play testers do when they play test this stuff. Sometimes I get the feeling they give it a real light treatment, or that they are incompetent… :-o
-
Perhaps they subconsciously don’t want to win when they are the bad guys… :-)
Anyway have you hard that triplea may have the Abattlemap skin in the future with the same zoom level (except that you can zoom out further if you wish)?
While it was nostalgic to use Abattlemap it takes more effort then triplea… -
Yes, I was thinking that as we played – that BattleMap was a pain in the ass.
Alas, I have maybe succumbed to TrippleA’s ease of play.
Hmm, I’d say that if the UK blocked Italy from Africa and the US went 80% against Japan for the first 4 rounds or so the Allies may win. Of all the games I’ve won as the allies, which are not that many, that is how the allies win. They lose the USSR, but by the time that happens, Japan is boxed up so the US can focus on Europe.
