  • That’s TWICE I’ve fallen asleep on where that German carrier was sitting and what could reach it! I guess the Germans just aren’t meant to have a carrier!  :-D Good thing this game isn’t closer to where I’d actually need it before the game ended or I’d be mad at myself. As it is, most of my opponents concede when it gets to a point like this and I’d much rather play; my “endgame” needs a lot of work.

    I think I have a workable plan to make life difficult on those Soviets. Post after dinner tonight  :-)


  • Agreed Fortress - playing out games reveals a lot of hidden gems. Infrastructure and I have played out games where we thought all was lost… but realized we could turn the corner, and have sometimes won what looked like lost causes…

    This one is tough because of the economy - however, Russia will continue to diminish, which could pull the economic game closer…
