  • Yup, got it. I hate getting caught in rookie mistakes.

    For twenty + years I never played a game to any other conclusion than total victory, and the unconditional surrender of my opponent (or me) signaled the end of the fight. That includes global.

  • It’s a good thing I decided to plan for “what if this destroyer block doesn’t actually work” even though I couldn’t see it not working. The French fighter?!? I did NOT even think of that when I was planning ahead 2-3 game turns to figure out victory conditions. I’m going to have to remember that one for the future. My French units are almost always fodder; like the Irish in Braveheart, they’re cheaper than arrows.
