I’m used to opponents who bring the Far East stack home to Moscow but go all Pacific with the US for awhile … you make a good case for disrupting Japan instead and splitting US builds between theaters early on.

I’m used to opponents who bring the Far East stack home to Moscow but go all Pacific with the US for awhile … you make a good case for disrupting Japan instead and splitting US builds between theaters early on.
Actually, since I only have a handful of games under my belt, I’m using the same tactics with the Russians as I do in AA50. I’m fairly aggressive with the Siberian units in AA50. Not really sure if it’s a good idea or not.
Still, it seems to me like backing those units out of that area pretty much hands China over to the Japanese. The Japanese as a concentrated force are formidable so, in the early stages, the Allies have to pick at them from multiple directions. Pulling away pressure from one of those directions allows them to leave that area relatively undefended and lets them focus more units in the other areas which can be overwhelming pretty quickly.
