It worked out for you . . . unfortunately. This is arguably one of my worst G1 openings ever. I’ve had games were I didn’t take Bess or Baltic, but usually I kill a couple more units along the way and I don’t remember losing both battles and having 3 soviets left over. No bb left, paris, and the 2 50-50 sea battles on top of it. Ha, this should be a little bit more challenging then usual. You could potentially hit Romania, but your fighter/tac have to land in bess and that sets them up for a counter. At least EPL went without a hitch, I could only imagine losing an inf or two and giving you a counter there on top of everything else!

I feel for you. I haven’t looked at the map yet, but I’ve had a run of losses that I can attribute to dice (and my opponents taking advantage of my bad luck very expertly).
I remember I had 97% odds on taking Moscow on turn 6 in one of my recent games. Odds said I should live with 12 units. Instead he lived with 14 units. :cry:
