As this is my first game online, excuse any questions I might have.
I presume that we detail all our moves here, and then keep track on our separate AAbattlemap files.
My question is: in battles, how do we choose which enemy units die? Are we always assuming that the other will chose to lose the units with the lesser defence value first? But, that might not always work.
I chose the allies so that I could observe what you did, at first, to understand the mechanics of online playing.

Detail the moves, and upload the abattlemap file. That way the typed action and the battlemap confirm each other, also, saves us time recreating every move if we feel lazy.
Safest way to determine casualties:
A) What gives the defender the best odds?
B)
B.1) Infantry, Artillery, Mechanized Infantry, Armor, Fighters, Tactical Bombers, Strategic Bombers
B.2) Damage Battleships, Damage Carriers, Submarines, Destroyers, sink Carriers, Tactical Bombers, Cruisers, Fighters, Sink BattleshipsC) If there is any doubt in your mind, ask for defender casualties before rolling the next round. This is generally only when you are attacking a zone with a strategic bomber in it (as the defender may want to take them first to give them the best chance of most hits or last so they have the expensive unit later) and naval when it comes to determining carrier hits and destroyer hits to negate sneak attacks by attacking submarines and planes with no valid landing zones.
