Shit, I forgot about the flanking bonus. In this case, rolling the battle in edit mode doesn’t work because it is not clear which units are receiving the flanking bonus.
Are you OK if we continue the battle on the forum? So we use the roll from the screenshot, but then reroll all 8s, 9s, and 10s and roll the rest of the battle on the forum.
of course!
-
@VictoryFirst i get that the tank flanked and so will reroll (air units don’t flank) but how do you know which atg rolled the 8? how do you know which infantries rolled 7/8?
-
sorry, not 7s obviously.
-
@The_Good_Captain You are right, THAT unfortunately is not clear from the screenshot. I forgot. Are you OK if we just reroll the UK roll and roll the entire battle on the forum?

One supply has to be removed from Mersa Matruh (from the previous turn).

@The_Good_Captain I will lose two infantry from Mersa Matruh. I will press the attack. I draw two supply from Tobruk again, and now one supply from Cairo because Mersa Matruh has 4 units. Will you defend?
Total spent supply so far (mostly a reminder for me):
1 supply from Mersa Matruh (from previous turn)
4 supply from Tobruk
3 supply from Cairo
1 supply from Mersa Brega -
I will attempt a retreat now. I meant to say that one of the infantry losses should have been Italian from the initial round.
-
Round 2, UK units fire:
Units from Tobruk:
7 infantry [dice 7d10<=2]
1 AT [dice 1d10<=2]
1 fighter [dice 1d10<=4]Units from Mersa Matruh (flanking)

Lol that is unexpected. That wipes out the remainder of your army. No return fire because the Axis attempted a retreat.

Here is the updated mine overview. Notice that the capture of Bir Hacheim resulted in the capture of the mines in BEN-BIR and BIR-JAL as well.
Benghazi: BEN-TOB (Axis)
Tobruk: 2x BEN-TOB, BIR-TOB (Allies)
Mersa Brega: BIR-BRE (Axis)
Bir Hacheim: BEN-BIR, BIR-JAL (Allies)
Mersa Matruh: 2x BIR-MAT, MAT-SIW (Allies)
Cairo: 5x CAI-MAT (Allies) -
@VictoryFirst I6.tsvg 5 units attack from Siwa and 5 from Jalo. The units from Siwa draw supply from Jalo. The units from Jalo draw from Mersa Brega. The inf attack on Mersa Matruh is supplied from Jalo. There is now one supply left in Jalo.
The units in Bir Hachiem cannot retreat pending the dice roll in MAT-SIW.
I will detonate the mine in MAT-SIW and BIR-JAL. I cannot see why you would not blow them.
MAT-SIW [dice 3d10]
BIR-JAL [dice 3d10]
