@VictoryFirst I got a prompt that said I “didn’t have the required units to place in Malta convoy zone”? I went through the rulebook looking for something that said I needed a special unit to deploy supply/fighters to malta but couldn’t find any?

@The_Good_Captain I think I accidentally deleted the lines that added invisible factories to Gibraltar and Malta Convoy at game start during an update. For now, you have to add these manually. If you enter edit mode, click on British untis and add “factory” you should be able to place normally again.

Nope, that is not true! I removed them because they are added after the UK variable reinforcements. Otherwise you would be able to place those in Malta Convoy during these phases.
Eric accidentally deleted the factory from Malta Convoy in the NCM phase of G3… 😅

@The_Good_Captain So if I was not clear, the factories for Malta Convoy and Gibraltar are added to the game just fine. The issue was only that Eric accidentally deleted the one from Malta Convoy.
They are not placed immediately at game start because there were some things necessary to prevent the player from making mistakes. When doing the British variable reinforcements, you are only allowed to place in one territory at a time. So first Atlantic Ocean Convoy, then Indian Ocean Convoy, and lastly Suez Canal Convoy. If every factory was added immediately at game start, new players not understanding how these phases work might accidentally place stuff in other territories like Gibraltar or Malta Convoy, or even the wrong Convoy zone. That’s why I made sure the only factory added at game start is Atlantic Ocean Convoy. Once you have placed stuff there, a trigger removes this factory and adds one to Indian Ocean Convoy, etc. Once the British player finished his variable reinforcements, all necessary factories are added to the game.

So be cautious when removing units using edit mode! Some units are vital for this game to work.
