top priority for Italy was to make sure they have can openers heading to Russia to support the German advance. With the outcome of the Med, it has proven hopeless to ever do much else. Africa is also a hopeless mess.
Getting Gibraltar was a key accomplishment as there are no transports that can reclaim it next round. The UK should have had a safer place for their ships and had an extra fighter support the American one in Gibraltar as this was a significant setback in value with almost a 40 PU swing in those two fights.
missed the transport in Brazil. Likely Gibraltar can be reclaimed, but no guarantee
I will comment on Turn 1 decisions after Anzac goes as there are some tough choices on what to do with their units.
Sorry guys. I didn’t want to weaken England and I should have taken at least one infantry.
I was going to ask for input on the noncom s and just choose to move on. My apologies.
I think the 97 fleet is going to survive. Or take a lot of Luftwaffe down with it. So I’d like to steam the Anzac ships towards suez
And garrison Australia
@crockett36 said in ABH and crockett36, (A+69) tutor game:

My suggestion was 2 inf and a sb to Gibraltar, but didn’t look closely at the situation in London.
@crockett36 Definitely run the numbers for Sealion each UK turn to evaluate options. Currently Germany only had one transport and five planes that could reach, and some of the planes would have been required in SZ110 to clear a path for the amphibious landing. Very few defenders are currently required in London to protect on UK2, and it would have been unlikely that I would have been lured into a big Sea Lion build for a UK3 attack after that disasterous first round for the Axis.
Bringing 2 inf and another plane to Gibraltar would have been very helpful. You also could have built an airbase in Gibraltar to have supported the adjacent fleets. That spot is so critical to dominating the Atlantic and the Med. It should be the main focus are for the Allies in the early game, assuming London and Egypt are safe.
@arthur-bomber-harris NOTE TO SELF: DEBATE THE NONCOMS. BOLSTER GIBRALTAR OR BLOCK 92 T1
Suggestions for Anzac and France. Obviously bring French into 97
@crockett36 anfran.tsvg
