  • Im not sure if you can do what you just did in SZ 112, if you are moving planes you have to be able to land it in a carrer, and since you didnt move a carrier to do so it was impossible, so this plane couldnt attack.

    If you go to to Notes in triple A, under “General rules for all A&A games that the engine does not do, but you must follow:” it says:

    *(PE) All air moved must have a way of potentially being picked up or landing, and all air that survives combat MUST be picked up if possible.

    And (PE) = Player Enforced = You must be aware of the rule and must follow it. The engine will not stop you from breaking the rule.

    I always played like this, and I think im right, but if you want we can call someone else that tells us how it is supposed to be.

    @lebowsky I have played this game a long time and I am sure that this is a legal move. It is even verified by the rule you posted. *(PE) All air moved must have a way of potentially being picked up or landing, and all air that survives combat MUST be picked up if possible.
    Since my dd attacked your fleet in sz 110 Technically I can assume that it will win that battle thus clearing the sz for my carrier to pick up the fighter in 110. I have demonstrated a "potential landing spot " for the plane which is all that is required in the combat move. Obviously I wasn’t going to win the sea battle so I can’t move my carrier into sz110 thus the fighter dies in the NCM. Sneaky, cheesy even but I assure you quite a legal move. But if you want to post the question and wait to get a ruling please do so. Cheers!
