    Well, that was sudden! Thanks for the game. That sucks when the dice go against you. I’ve been having bad luck in other games that made me want to quit. If you are willing to talk about it, I’d like to know how you can tell this early in a game that you will lose? I assume it was more than just that one bad luck battle. I am still trying to figure out what kind of timer you need to have with the Axis to succeed. I am in a game where I decided to not attack with Japan until round 4, and it isn’t working out well. But, gotta try different things to see what works!  :-D


  • Axis momentum was dead after that battle. I lost 6 planes total to your 1. The Japanese had held off declaring war to help Euro axis so they were not in great shape either.

    Even with Egypt, I would be torn apart pretty quick in Europe… it would just be one more spot to defend. …

    No doubt it was a risky battle but I thought it was worth a try: would have set Russia back a fair bit to lose their airforce.

    I felt like the writing was on the wall after the results of Ukraine…

    Ok. I didn’t notice that you lost 6 planes. That is devastating for Germany. Thanks for the debriefing. I am more convinced, after a current game where Japan is struggling, that it needs to be attack early with Japan, or I need to figure out how to position better. I was well out of position, and it is hard to get those money islands after the Allies fortify them.
